2017 is the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. This was designated by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 4, 2016.
What is sustainability? It means meeting the needs of current generations, but without affecting the future generations. It seeks to promote economic and social progress, respecting natural ecosystems and the quality of the environment
In this context TXD (Tourism for Development) is created, an organization born in Uruguay with the purpose of acting as a link between isolated actions and sustainable enterprises, through a novel communication proposal.
When designing their logo, we sought to merge the most relevant concepts of the brand in a range of greens, color that connotes the natural and ecological. Visually, the conjunction of the acronym “TXD” shapes the infinity symbol, associated with sustainable development.
