Located on a privileged spot of Punta Ballena, Museo Taller Casapueblo (Casapueblo’s museum & workshop), it’s an icon of Uruguayan culture, and it’s visited by thousand of tourists from all over the world.

Looking for the continuous improvement of their communication strategies, Casapueblo’s team decided to trust Cualit with the development of their new website, as well as the planning of a new digital strategy.

Working together, we decided to give a new approach to their communication and web design, beginning with educational content about Carlos Páez Vilaró’s life and work, and also including Casapueblo’s history on it.

For the website design, we innovated following tendencies that top ten museums and art galleries are using nowadays, always respecting Carlos Páez Vilaró and Casapueblo’s style, and also trying to highlight the artists work and life as much as possible.

The whole website is now like a “big digital multimedia encyclopedia” about Carlos Páez Vilaró’s life and work, and Casapueblo’s history. Also, it has become a huge source of information for tourists who want to visit it.

It was challenging to organize and design this website not only because of the number of pages but also because of the huge amount of content. But we achieved to make a simple structure, easy to navigate, with all the details the customer wanted.

Check out their web here.

We are also working on Casapueblo’s  social media strategy, creating touristic-educational content, focusing the communication about the artists life, and giving information about the different moments of his work and how he built Casapueblo.

Instagram is the social media queen when it comes to art, design and photography content, that’s why it’s been used strategically as an art gallery to show Carlos Páez Vilaró’s artwork.
Currently all posts are about the different painting phases of Páez Vilaró, but we have future plans to exhibit his photographs, videos, sculptures and architecture.
