Casapueblo is a building constructed by the Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró, that now works as a museum. Being one of the main tourist points of the country, Casapueblo receives thousands of people a year, among them, international personalities, who delight in the works of the artist.
To give the museum winds of change, they decided that the artwork should have an added value, offering more information in an original way. They were looking to incorporate innovation and technology to their museum experience, we proposed to develop an augmented reality app. When visitors point at each painting, they can see animations with details that give life to each work of art and shows visitors a different reality from what they see in front of them. This gives each visitor a much more enriching experience when are visiting the museum, which differs from the common paradigms.
