Casapueblo is a unique building designed and architectured by the globally renowned Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. Today it’s a museum and stands as one of the main tourist must see points in the country, Casapueblo receives thousands and thousands of people a year, among them, international personalities, who delight in the works of the artist.

The challenge was to make this museum come to life. In order to do so, Cualit developed an augmented reality app that turns still paintings into living art work. 

When visitors aim their mobile phone at each piece, the artificial intelligence detects the painting and the artwork starts moving, the sound starts playing telling the story, and complementary information is shown in a super entertaining way.

The result is a fully interactive and innovative way of visiting a museum that engages the audience no matter the age.
